Tasked with a refresh of our clients' existing 1980s kitchen, including leaf-printed laminate,raised panel maple cabinets, and a trapezoidal, diagonal island, we settled early on the basics: clean, modern, functional, durable. A new Donald-Judd inspired kitchen island includes open storage, concealed storage, kitchen storage and doubles as a dining surface supported by thin oak pinwheeling supports, echoed in the details of the wall-anchored base cabinets.
