For their hillside property in Silverlake, our friends and clients, a filmmaker and a vintner, commissioned SSP to renovate two full baths and a powder room before the arrival of their first child. We pulled it off — upgrading 1990s integral shell-shaped acrylic sink vanities, tile finishes, flooring, plumbing, hardware, and lighting.
A simple palette of unlacquered brass, white oak, honed Crema limestone and Nero Marquina floor tiles was applied across all three bathrooms, unified using a two-toned strategy. Unique colors of the matte ceramic wall tile produced local variation in each bath: one for kids, one for grownups, one for guests.
